Kawartha Highlands Presbyterial UCW Fall Rally hosted by Fenelon Falls United Church Wednesday, September 26th with guest speaker Carolyn Hemminger, Public Education Co-ordinator for the Alzheimer Society. Soup & Sandwich Luncheon – Saturday, September 29th – 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday, September 30th – 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Ingoldsby UC. Choice of delicious soups, sandwiches, tea biscuits, tarts and beverage. Variety of harvest, baking, craft and handmade clothing items for purchase.
St. George’s Anglican Church will be having our Annual Beef BBQ Dinner on Saturday, September 29th with sittings at 5 and 6:30 pm. Tickets Adults $20, Children (under 12) $6; available at Master’s Book Store or the church office 705-457-2074 or at the door. All proceeds will go to Point in Time for the Youth Hub and Food for Kids.
Elva Bates has written her third book “THROUGH THE BIBLE FROM EDEN TO ETERNITY” which will be available in a few weeks. Copies of the book are free for the asking. If you would like a copy of Elva’s book, please call or email the office.

Pot Luck Lunch: We will be having our regular Pot Luck Lunch on Sunday September 30. Help is need with clean up. Thanks.
Stewardship and Mission Offering: The extra monthly Mission for September is Mercy Ships. We thank you for your support and ask that you mark your envelope when giving to this extra mission. Take note of the Stewardship and Mission bulletin board in the foyer. Information will be posted as it becomes available.
Bible studies:
For a time of study, prayer and fellowship, please join us:
- Tuesdays: Women to Women Bible Study in the library from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. All women are welcome to join us at any time. For info call the office 705-457-1891.
- Wednesday Morning Bible Study in the library 10 – 11:30 a.m.
Library: The library is open during office hours except when being used for meetings. The librarian is available Tuesdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. to help in choosing a book, DVD or teaching material (holidays excluded).
Coffee is available every Sunday before church in the foyer outside of the Fellowship Room. All are welcome to partake and enjoy!
